Renee has been leading yoga and meditation for over 20 years. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree Magna Cum Laude with a major in Religious Studies. Soon after, she went on to become certified in yoga in 1998. Her meditation training for the past 15 years has been under the guidance of her teacher in the Vajrayana (Tibetan) Buddhist Nyingma lineage. 

During her twenty plus years of teaching yoga, her greatest reward as a teacher is not a student molding themselves into a complex asana, but the calm and peace that takes root in their hearts and minds. Her view of asana and meditation are skillful means to intelligently integrate peace and wisdom into one's very being.

On her travels around the world, Renee gathers nuggets of knowledge and inspiration to share with students. The greatest lesson she has learned within her travels is that we are all the same, no matter who we are or where we come from. All human beings require love, respect, and freedom to express their gifts that they are inspired to share with the world. Likewise, all human beings experience love, fear, anger, compassion, and joy; emotional experiences that make life so rich and so complex. She believes that wisdom and truth are discoveries and experiences available to everyone equally.

Renee approaches every individual with the deepest respect towards their unique journeys. She views her approach to guiding meditation as a temporary sherpa of sorts; simply a guide on the trek of meditation. On this trek, she enjoys sharing, as a friend with others, the path towards awakening while creating a life that sparkles with joy and compassion.

As an author and artist, Renee embraces creativity that is life itself:  "I can't breathe unless I'm working on my art or writings. They allow me to taste that which is bigger than myself. It is a meditation. It is mindful action."                                      ​
